The Sanctum Tabletop Gaming Emporium

My folks live in the area and, whenever I visit, I often make a stop there. While never there to do more than support a local shop, I always see events happening or being promoted. The selection is vast with a very curated kids section all the way to numerous miniature games and supplies. Fantastic RPG section with support of the big names but also plenty of smaller ones too. Staff has always been exceedingly friendly and helpful. If I didn't live half way across the country, I'd make Sanctum my go to for me and my kids every week.

I came here for D&D supplies, as I just joined my first campaign. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the selection is great, and the vibes are immaculate. There’s always a diverse crowd of fellow weirdos in there 🩷 This feels like an inclusive, welcoming space.

Best place ever. I’ve been playing Magic here for almost a year now—my fiancée and his pod come in every week, and it’s become such a fun, welcoming place for us to escape the day-to-day chaos of life. I went to their Coven event a few weeks ago and had such a great time. I need to go back for the coven again!! As a mom of 3 and a busy hairstylist, it means a lot to have a place where I can be social, be myself, and just genuinely have fun. I’m not originally from Racine, and even after being here for a few years, I still don’t have a huge circle of friends in the area. I was honestly really anxious about attending the coven mtg event, but I’m so glad I did. The people here are fun, welcoming, and easy to connect with. The staff has always been incredibly kind to us, and they truly make an effort to get to know their regulars on a first-name basis, which says a lot. Not only do we love The Sanctum, but our kids love the “game store” too! They have so many board games for kids of all ages, which makes it feel even more family-friendly. Overall, they have so much to offer, and it’s such an amazing place to have in our community. To the staff—I hope you all know how much of a posit

My friend and I spent all day checking out every game store as far south as Gurnee, and Sanctum is BY FAR the best around! Super friendly staff, an incredible amount of books, dice, miniatures, and more. Coffee and snacks for gamers at their height-adjustable tables, all wrapped up in an incredibly clean shop! We will certainly be coming back!

Went in here on my lunch break awhile back. I had work gear on of course. The store owner must have a negative charisma score. Rude, short, and just unfriendly. I planned on bringing my kid and nieces and nephews in but I’ll never set foot in that store again. You’d think a geek who owns a store would be welcoming and friendly.
